We're here to help you discover your purpose so you can find work that utilizes it!
A Little About Us
We have a background in helping people find work, but after years in the recruitment industry we had watched too many people churn through positions and still end up unhappy. We wanted to get to the root of the problem. That's when the idea for The Purpose Promise was born.
At the core, we guide unfulfilled workers from hating work, towards an awareness of purpose and to find a fulfilling career. This is our passion because we believe that every human being was created for meaning, value and purpose.
Purpose has become such a "wow" concept, but we know how important it is to live on purpose (inside and outside of work). We understand the discouragement that comes when you feel trapped in the daily grind of an unfulfilling job. That led us to develop a manageable process that will lead you to your specific career of purpose and to find a fulfilling career. You can learn more about that process here.

Most Americans spend more time at work than anywhere else in their life. Most Americans also don't love their work. That is a dangerous combination and as an owner of a recruiting firm, I was in a position to change that. To do so, we created The Purpose Promise, a practical process to help someone define their ideal work based on the life they want to live.

Finding The Purpose Promise has been such a blessing in my life and I want to share that experience with everyone! It's a great joy to witness the transformation of individuals as they find work that aligns with their passions and values, ultimately leading to greater happiness and fulfillment for themselves.

I have always believed that you should "work to live, not live to work," and that work should be lifegiving. Having the opportunity to help others find that kind of work, and replace feelings of dread and discontentment with joy and eagerness is such a blessing.

Elena King
Special Project Manager
I first joined The Purpose Promise when I was navigating life after having my first son and I knew I needed a space to put my administrative skills and creativity to use. I hope others are able to find their purpose and choose to live a life full of joy as a result of the work we do here at The Purpose Promise!

I wanted to become a Purpose Guide because I think a lot of people, self-included, can become overwhelmed by all of the competing voices telling us what "success" is. The truth is, we are each gifted and purposed in different ways and I saw being a purpose guide as an opportunity to live into my gifting by helping others identify and live into theirs.

I spent years trying to find purpose in my work on my own. I eventually got there, but I took a lot of wrong turns along the way. After discovering The Purpose Promise, I was drawn to being a Purpose Guide to make that path easier for others. As a coach and chaplain in my professional life, I assist in connecting the dots of the Purpose Seeker's history to support creating a clear picture of the life and work that best suits them.

I had the gift of walking through The Purpose Promise alongside guides that showed up with an authentic presence to allow me the grace of self-discovery in a safe and grace filled environment. This led me to want to give back that gift to others so that I could also celebrate the life stories of standing witness to others receiving their lives with authentic presence and clarity.

I wanted to become a Purpose Guide because I had the opportunity to go through the retreat journey myself years ago and it changed my life. I wanted to pay it forward by helping guide others through the journey to achieve similar life change. Helping others define and think about how they can go after their own definition of success is a privilege and honor.

I became a Purpose Guide to utilize my gifts, experience and talents to fulfill my purpose to serve others in helping them find their purpose and ultimately make disciples through the process. It's another opportunity to meet others where they are in life's different phases and build more relationships of trust and love.

I have a passion for helping people successfully manage life's challenges. I have personally had several career transitions and would like to help others manage this process effectively. I believe that everyone has God-given gifts, talents and skills, which when lined-up with the right career, can help people find purpose and joy in their work.

The Purpose Guidance process is the only one I know of that offers a concrete set of steps that actually walks someone through how to find God's purpose for them. I enjoy helping people realize what God made them for and working toward that goal.

I believe in living a balanced life. I don't believe we have a "work" life and "personal" life. We just have one life...and success to me, is learning to live an integrated life - to value each moment and to measure it in accordance with my calling and priorities.
